Suffering

Tools of My trade

I use suffering as a tool of My trade. When you are hurting, know that I Am very, very close and giving you expert attention and Love. I will help you in all things. Be still and accept the process. Jesus spoke very little as He patiently endured the cross. Just know weeping lasts a night but joy comes in the morning. There is an end. I Love you! Isaiah 41:10-13 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you”–this is the LORD’s declaration–“plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

For My glory and your good

Do not ever think that suffering means I Am not taking care of you. No, I will never leave you or stop taking care of you. I will never allow one second more than you can bear. I Am in charge of everything and I Am using every second for My glory and your good. Remember that I wear all hats . . . including that of a surgeon, builder, teacher, coach, washer, advertiser, movie producer, light and sound crew, pilot, policeman and dentist to name just a few. Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Privilege of Suffering

Suffering on the cross for My sake, and in obedience to My Will, is a privilege and an honor. Only while your feet touch earth will you have this opportunity. Jump at the chance to suffer for Me now while you can. You can serve Me in martyrdom and laying down your life to the point of great pain now. Philippians 1:29 For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake Acts 5:41 So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death 2 Timothy 2:12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us

The Joy in Suffering

Contrary to earth logic and thought, there is great freedom that comes with submission to pain and suffering . . . freedom that cannot be reached any other way. . . through acceptance and trust and submission. James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. 1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 94:18-19 When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. 2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.

The Measure of Maturity

The measure of maturity is unconditional self sacrificing love. Abilities and responsibility are not measures of maturity. Responsibility can be supported and motivated by greed and pride. It takes long life and many days of suffering to learn how to love unconditionally and selflessly. Many never do while on the earth. They remain as immature self centered children and must be taken care of by the mature forgiving one assigned to them by God. Ephesians 4:13-15 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 1 Corinthians 14:20 Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Romans 15:1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. 1 John 3:16-18 We know love by this that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

Training for the future

Do not ask Me to remove your training. Thank Me for the training as you anticipate the future I have for you. Romans 5:3-5 but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Take up your cross

There is no such thing as salvation, deliverance and new Life for others without suffering the pain of absorbing their sin. Do not run from the pain inflicted upon you. Stand and absorb. Your pain and labor will not be in vain. Your cross leads to their resurrection. Take up your cross and follow Me. 2 Timothy 1:8-9 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity . . . Matthew 16 24 Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.…

Your holy sacrifice to Me

As you are suffering, rather than trying to escape, constantly tell Me that you Love Me with an unselfish and unending Love. This will change your suffering into an offering that is holy and eternal. Do this in remembrance of Me. Romans 8:17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death Philippians 1:29 For to you it has been granted for Christ\’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake

I have given you the keys to the kingdom. . . . take dominion

Turn your suffering into an act of Love and worship for Me. Bind and cast out all demons of fear. Fear demons always rush to someone who is in pain. Loose faith and peace. Then bind all demons of self-protection and self-love. Loose selfless Love and submission to your Father. Bind accusing and condemning demons and cast them out. Loose humility and peace. Then you will be able to offer the pain as a beautiful gift to Me. It will be a sacrifice of Real Love. Turn all pain into offerings and gifts of Love. These gifts are more than money can buy. I treasure and multiply the power of each one. When your pain becomes an offering of Love it is never wasted. Tell Me you Love Me. Show Me how much. Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 1 Peter 5:10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
