Come into My Rest

When the day closes, give to Me all the memories of that day, both good and bad. Give Me your struggles, pain and cares. Rest your spirit in My Arms by faith. Turn all your attention to Me within you. Relax and enter My rest. Let go of everything. When you awake, do not try to recall the hardships of the day before. Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Isaiah 41:13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Matthew 11:28-29 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 6 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Do not grow weary. . . press on

Be patient and press on, forgetting yesterday’s struggles. Remain in the present with Us. You have a great cloud of witnesses who have run the race and understand the pressures. They are cheering you on. Do not grow weary. Lean on Us. You can do nothing without Us, but with Us . . . no limits . . . you can even fight the tempter with Our help. Keep coming to Us in rest and peace. Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. 2 Timothy 2:1You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that you have heard me say among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be qualified to teach others as well. 3 Join me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 A soldier refrains from entangling himself in civilian affairs, in order to please the one who enlisted him. 5 Likewise, a contender does not receive the crown unless he competes according to the rules. 6 The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive his share of the crops. 7 Consider what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all things.
