Real Love

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 Only a humble heart can love. Pride loves no one but himself. Ask Me to give you the gift of humility. Real Love does not begin with attraction. Real Love begins with humility. 1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

The Measure of Maturity

The measure of maturity is unconditional self sacrificing love. Abilities and responsibility are not measures of maturity. Responsibility can be supported and motivated by greed and pride. It takes long life and many days of suffering to learn how to love unconditionally and selflessly. Many never do while on the earth. They remain as immature self centered children and must be taken care of by the mature forgiving one assigned to them by God. Ephesians 4:13-15 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 1 Corinthians 14:20 Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Romans 15:1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. 1 John 3:16-18 We know love by this that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

Humility and Pride

If you think you are humble, you are not.  Those who are humble cannot detect their humility. Just because you have been beaten up by the world does not mean you are now humble. Humility comes through the Truth of your own sin and grieving over it to the point of pain and a determined repentance. Where there is an absence of humility, there is the presence of pride. Proverbs 22:4 Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. Mark 9:35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.\” Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

The fragrance of humility

Self-awareness brings pride. Look at a little baby who has no awareness of herself and her abilities. She only knows dependency. Humility is so beautiful on you. Ask Me to clothe you with humble dependency. Matthew 5;3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 18:3  Assuredly, I say to you, unless you change and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves. Psalm 32:2 How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit! 1 Corinthians 4:4 For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

The path to revelation is humility

Truth comes in direct proportion to the absence of pride and the presence of humility. Humble yourself through submission to My will and I will lift you up. Psalm 24: 3Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood  And has not sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD  and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of those who seek Him,  Who seek Your face—even Jacob. 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.… Luke 14: 11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.

Keys to being set free

Satan is Pride. Pride has no Truth. If you want to know the Truth you must first battle your own pride. You must first realize that you are in the same boat as everyone else. You are no better. You have fallen also. Only then will you have enough humility and compassion to understand Truth. Truth cannot be understood without humility and compassion within your heart. Pride stops Truth every time. Pride lies. Ask Holy Spirit to humble you. Then you will know Truth and the Truth will set you free. Do you want to know what is True badly enough to be humbled for it? John 8: 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies. 1 Peter 5:5 Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.… James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom there is no change or shifting shadow. James 4:6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.… Luke 6:42 How can you say, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while you yourself fail to see the beam in your own eye?\’ You hypocrite, first take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 43 No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.… Psalm 24:3…3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD And righteousness from the God of his salvation.… Matthew 5:2 and He began to teach them, saying: 3  Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
