Best Friends

Two “best” friends have chosen each other over all options. They choose to sit together. They choose each other’s company over other options. They give each other the best they have to give. They chose to spend their free time together rather than with others. They constantly use their will to turn down options and choose fellowship with each other. Even when they are tempted they want to be loyal to each other. Without other options it would not be possible for them to be “best” friends. They would only be friends. I want Us to be “best” friends. I gave you alternatives. Will you choose Me? I chose you. Mark 8:34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. 17 Genesis 2:16-17 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;  but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die. Job 16:20-21 My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; 21 on behalf of a man he pleads with God as one pleads for a friend. Psalm 16:11, “You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
