obedience

What is Holiness?

Faith in Me is holiness. Trust in Me is holiness. Love for Me is holiness. Desire for Me is holiness. Obedience to Me is holiness. Listening to and following Me is holiness. Seeking Me through out your day is holiness. Soaking  in My Love is holiness. Laying down your own desires to serve Me in obedience is holiness. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. Philippians 2:14-16a Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. Romans 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Amos 5:14 Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.

Rewarder of those who seek Me

When you hear My Voice, obedience will determine your ability to hear more of My Voice. The more you obey, the more you will hear. I Am a rewarder of those who seek and obey. Obedience is the measure of desire for Me plus Trust in Me. Little desire = little or incomplete obedience. Little trust = little or incomplete obedience. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, and having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” John 10:27 My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. Jeremiah 3:33 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

My Everlasting Love for you

My Everlasting Love for you My Little One, know that you are what I Love. Yes, I treasure your faithful desire for Me. Yes, I delight in your surrender to Me and your obedience. I see your heart and know your longing to please Me. But, My Precious Little One, it is you alone that I choose and Love with all the Love that there is in eternity. If you could do nothing but exist, I would still Love you with My eternal Love. Nothing you can do can change that. I Love you simply because you exist. I Love you simply because you are. I made you so that I can Love you . . . not for what you can do for Me . . . but just because you are you. My Love for you does not depend on your doing anything at all.   Jeremiah 31:3 3 The LORD appeared to him from afar: I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Learn to Die so you can learn to Love

Not one drop of Love-Blood that you shed in obedience to Me will be wasted. Not one second you spend on My altar will be in vain. When I lead you to the cross I will not give you more than you can bear. You will not remain one second longer than you can bear. You also will not be there alone . . . I will be there with you, understanding the pressure and suffering while carrying you through. Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD is the One who will go before you.m He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.n Do not be afraid or discouraged. Isaiah 41:10-13 Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand 1 Peter 5:7 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you Matthew 6:3 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.… Romans 12:1 1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship

Love Them for Me

Serve with all My Love those difficult ones. Serve them in peaceful silence. Talk to Me as you serve them. Let’s stand in the gap for them together, while We humbly serve them. Pray and serve those who have hurt you. Do good to them. Ask Me and I will show you what We can do together for them. Bind dark spirits that prevent you from seeing them as I see them. Loose My forgiveness and peace. Serve. Bring peace and good will into each life, no matter what the history has been. Do this with Me. You will then have your reward . . . more of My Presence and joy. One step of obedience at a time. I Love you! This is called becoming a “living sacrifice” that sends a sweet aroma to the heavens. Romans 12:1, I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.… 1 Peter 2:1 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

The value of wisdom

My Wisdom is more precious than money, counseling, books, and advice. Ask Me and I will give it to you freely, but you must not doubt or disobey Me. A parent does not entrust family treasures to a child who knows what to do, but does not do it. Begin with quiet obedience and I will give you more Wisdom. Be faithful in little and I will give you more. Not by might or power but by Me – get Wisdom. Stop and seek Me. James 1:5-7 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord. James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace

The Chain of Authority

The centurion knew authority and obedience. Jesus has all authority given to Him. There is a chain of command that involves authority AND obedience. Jesus obeyed Papa. Papa gave Him authority to command below Him. We obey Jesus, we get authority to command what was put under us . . . dominion over the earth, principalities and powers, ONLY when we obey and to the extent we obey. Full-on sacrificial obedience to the point of pain means full-on command over all under us. Disobedience in life of the rabbi who tried to cast out demons is why demons beat him up. Obedience of disciples is why demons fled. Matthew 8:8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. Matthew 28:17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Ephesians 6:12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.

Real fruit

Obey Me and you will see the fruit of obedience. Psalm 1:3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Colossians 1:10 So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more.

Obedience unto death is the key to the door of Life

To have more of the Kingdom of God requires obedience to the point of death for your flesh. More death to self = more death to kingdom of earth life = more life in kingdom for you and more Life for those around you on earth coming through you as you obey. Obedience unto death is the key to the door of Life in the heavenly realm. Philippians 1:21 For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “f anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Philippians 3:8 More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things – 10 My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death, 12 – but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me. 13  Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, 14 with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

True worship is sacrificial

True worship is this: following My Voice in obedience that brings you to the altar of painful sacrifice. Matthew 10:39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
