Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you won’t be afraid if you close your eyes and your ears, the way you did when you were little and afraid to look at something just ahead. Stop using your eyes for anything except very surface-level necessities. Literally close your eyes and stop up your ears (or put My music in them) over and over every day. Then let My Voice and Presence guide you. Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Hebrews 12:1Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, 1 Peter 3:12For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer.
