Wild Dogs (5 of 5) – Book of Jude

Mind the business I give you . . serve those I place near you in silence and peace. Let Me handle the wild ones. Serve, forgive, allow Me to erase your bad memories, quietly trust Me, do not give the sacred things of My Kingdom to wild dogs. All of the Book of Jude 1 Thessalonians 4:10-12 Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more. Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others. 3-25

Change hearts, not governments

Just as what is in the heart of a person will come out of his mouth, what is in the heart of a nation will come out through the government. Therefore, invest in bringing My kingdom to hearts rather than changing a government. Trying to change a government is like trying to hold water in your hand . . . you may hold a little, but most will leak out. Psalms 23:7 or as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink, Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost]. Psalm 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S And He rules over the nations. Isaiah 49:6 He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Colossians 1:10-12 So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Volunteer Soldiers

A soldier who is a volunteer in a war, doesn’t think twice when he is wounded in battle. It is expected. He is serving his country. You are my soldier.  You will experience pain as you engage with the enemy. But when you remember that you volunteered for My kingdom’s sake and for the sake of the lost, the pain is minimized. Soldiers don’t have self pity. They have determination. Soldiers don’t feel neglected or as if they are treated unfairly. They are involved in something too serious for that. Soldiers don’t consider themselves as missing out on life. They are too busy saving life. The time for rewards will come. Keep fighting. I love you! Philippians 3:13 Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me.
