John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.

Do not confuse blindness with being blindfolded. Blindness is a defect. A sense that I gave you is not being used when you are blind. I placed a blindfold on you as a gift to you. The blindfold protects you from independence. It protects you from pride which causes you to fall. It is also like a weight that causes the muscle of faith to grow stronger. To be blinded to Truth is to accept a defect. To be blindfolded is to accept a gift. Turn from blindness and humbly accept the gift of the blindfold. Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
