Becoming a friend of God

No one shares the depths of their heart with strangers, acquaintances, coworkers, or shallow friends or relatives. You share your heart according to the mutual depth of trust and loyalty. This trust and loyalty must be tested and proven over time, before you will open up and make yourself completely vulnerable and share the innermost thoughts of the deep places within you. This is My desire for you and Me. Psalm 25:4 The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them. James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “- Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God. True worship is this: hiding your innermost thoughts and conversation with Us from the world and keeping Our intimacy personal, holy and set apart as sacred. Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Luke 6:12 In those days, Jesus went out to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God.
