Guard Your Heart

You will not be deceived by the enemy when you have Our peace. You will overcome temptation when you have Our peace. You will glide through storms when you have Our peace. How does Our peace work? It guards your heart from assaults. A guarded heart is a peace-filled heart. Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Philippians 4:6-7  Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. 7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Remember that emotions cover up Truth. This is seen when someone you had strong feelings toward has been out of your life for many years and you begin to notice that your attitude toward them has changed. Or after you go through a trial that terrified you before you began, you often change your mind about the level of difficulty when it is over. Proverbs 29:11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.  Galatians 5:16-24 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. Let Me do your thinking for you today and every day. After all, My Mind is flawless. My Ways are Perfect. You will delight in My Ways. All you have to do is follow in Me, trust Me, wait on Me, listen to My Voice, and obey Me. Watch your heart and do not let any darkness dim My Light. Then My Ways will become your ways as My Light illuminates your path. Shut out darkness. Ask me to show you the sources. Then come and follow Me. Let Me do the planning. Be My blindfolded sheep. Do not panic when you fall into a “pit.” I Am here.

When you fall into a “hole” or “pit,” do not panic. Remain calm. If you panic, you will hold the door open for attacks. Keep the door closed by remaining calm and wait. I Am there. I will deliver you in My timing. Sing songs of praise, thanks, and peace. Quietly serve and follow the duties I gave you. Do all as for Me. Guard your heart by testing your spirit against the fruit of Holy Spirit. Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Psalm 131:2 Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
