Letters to Pearl

for love comes from God.

True Love

True Love must be shared. Love cannot remain shut up into itself. That is not possible. That is not the nature of Real Love. It must be given away. It’s focus is on an “other,” or a “receiver” rather than on it’s self. Real Love never stops the act of Loving that which will receive it’s Love. I Am Love. I Made you to receive Love from Me. Acts 20:35 . . .  remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Luke 6:30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. Matthew 22:37-39 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” First John 4:7-8 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” John 15:12-13 “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Before the farmer plants his crops he fertilizes the soil. The seeds must have nutrients to grow and mature and produce a harvest. Before a pet cat or dog can bring love and comfort to his owner he must receive lots of love and comfort as a kitten or puppy. Before a human can understand a little about what love is he must receive it from his parents. So how can you expect to Love Me and Love others unless your spirit has received the fullness of Our Love? You were not born with your own supply of Love. It must be worked into your spirit like a farmer mixes fertilizer into the soil or like a boy hugs love into his dog or a mother nurses and cuddles love into her baby. 1 John 4:19  We love because he first loved us. 1 John 7:9-10 let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Ephesians 1:4 For consider what he has done—before the foundation of the world he chose us to become, in Christ, his holy and blameless children living within his constant care. He planned, in his purpose of love, that we should be adopted as his own children through Jesus Christ—that we might learn to praise that glorious generosity of his which has made us welcome in the everlasting love he bears towards the Son. Jeremiahs 31:3  I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion. Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
