Letters to Pearl

for he cares about you

Storms of Life

To ride out a storm is to wait in silent trust and patient calmness. The pressure may be great but I will not let you drown. We will take each minute together while the winds blow. Do not believe the lies that say it won’t end. It will. All storms end. Let’s ride each storm out together. I will hold you while you remain quiet, still, non-defensive, calm and waiting. Persevere. Do not give in to fear. Hold on to Me. I Am Lord. John 16:33  I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the rld. 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Psalm 23:7 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 57:1 Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by.

I Am over the storm

When a dark storm of oppression and attack blows your way, you are tempted to outrun or run away from the storm. Those who run from storms often become victims of their own self-defense. They follow fear which leads them to protect themselves at all costs. They forget that I Am over the storm. They do not focus on My Love as they panic and try to get away. Like earth runners, they get caught in snarled traffic along with other runners. The runners feed off each other’s fear. Panic rises. Then accidents happen and the runners wish they had remained calm. Instead of running from storms of oppression, ride them out with Me. I will be right there with you. Isaiah 41:13 I am the LORD your God. I am holding your hand, so don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. Genesis 50:20 Even though you planned evil against me, God planned good to come out of it. This was to keep many people alive, as he is doing now. 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. John 16:33  I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. 1 Corinthians 10:33 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
