The Gift of Suffering

Remember the old saying, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?” Likewise, suffering is in the eye of the beholder. Therefore give thanks for suffering. It is my tool. I use it to reshape the human spirit. I use it to bring those who are lost into my Arms. I use it to bring Truth to those who are deceived. I use it to set prisoners of self-directed lives free. I use it to keep My own sheep straining to hear My Voice despite distractions. I use it to encourage My friends to become more intimate with Me. I use it to draw out faith like one would draw water from a glass with a straw. I use it to open blind eyes and deaf ears. Psalm 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now Your word do I keep [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].

Love Me, minister to others . . . this overcomes pride

How about pride?  “Love Me and others. When you love Me and others, you want glory to go to Me and encouragement (credit) to go to others. When you love yourself, you have pride. Only Love Me and have a ministering love toward others. Love is the opposite of sin. Use it as a preventative measure. Evaluate your Love toward each person I give to you. Soak in My Love, so like the moon reflects the sun, you reflect Love back to Me.” 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. 1 John 1:9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.
