Letters to Pearl

emotions

Do you trust Me?

Do not let your emotions be a source of Truth. They have very little Truth at all. Follow Me instead. Trust My Love for you. Relax and know that I Am in charge. Emotion will cover even the real desires of your own spirit. That is why you do not even know what is in your own spirit. Banish wayward feelings and be ruled by peace. Then Truth will become detectable. Do not trust anyone’s emotions, especially your own. Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Hebrews 4:11-12  11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Trust in the Lord, not yourself

The problem with relying on your logic is that your thoughts are not as logical as you believe them to be. Your mind is not flawless, and one of the many flaws is thinking that your thoughts are flawless. Remember the idiom, “blow your mind?” The mind is blown, because it thought it was right and flawless. Rely solely on Me. Faith is flawless . . . even a little faith is flawless, as long as it truly is there. Emotions, reasonings, analysis, memory, reports . . . these are all full of flaws. They are the shifting, unstable sand. My Voice is the Rock you can build upon. I Am the Rock . . . the only Rock. Depend upon Me alone. Jeremiah 17:9 The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.…” 1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.” 1 Corinthians 1:25 This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. Psalm 94:22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.

Step on your emotional bugs . . . trust Me!

Bombs of Love diffuse conflicts. Humility and calmness while waiting on Me end all attacks. Be quick to show Love in the midst of an attack. Calmly listen to My Voice and follow Me in faith while the storm rages. As you rule over your emotions and do not allow negative thoughts toward the storm, then you will retain peace, quietness, patience, and wisdom. Then you will see the real Truth behind the turmoil of the storm. Even when you see the Truth, I want you to maintain humble compassion, ready to admit your wrongs, offer Love, and show kind mercy as I lead you. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.8Love never ends. Galatians 5:22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.25If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

How I lead you

I do not lead you, My sheep, by your feelings or emotions. I do not lead you by your imaginary conversations in your mind with other people in your life. I do not lead you by your analysis, reasonings, or logic. I lead you by My Voice . . . not by sight, not by preference, but by My Voice. All other leadings are of the stranger. Do not be misled by feelings or perceptions of fear. John 10 Deuteronomy 13:18 If you’ll listen to the voice of the Eternal, your True God, obey all the commands I’m giving you today, and do what He decides is right.

Run to Me when you are upset

Watch your perspective towards the ones unknowingly being used by the enemy. Do not complain about them. When your emotions run high, calm yourself as a small child in My Arms, banishing all but peace, letting go of offense and remembering your own frailties. Remain undefended and at peace.  Humble yourselves, knowing that all these exercises are for the shaping of your souls. Submit without complaint to My Hand. Do not give the devil a foothold. James 5:9-11 (amp)  9 Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you [yourselves] may not be judged. Look! The Judge is [already] standing at the very door. 10 [As] an example of suffering and ill-treatment together with patience, brethren, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord [as His messengers]. 11 You know how we call those blessed (happy) who were steadfast [who endured]. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the Lord’s [purpose and how He richly blessed him in the] end, inasmuch as the Lord is full of pity and compassion and tenderness and mercy.

Thoughts – Day 6

Are you satisfied with the thoughts in your mind? Do they bring you peace? Or do they create storms? If you received thoughts of truth that you didn’t see before, would they help you? If you received thoughts of love for you and for others, would they change your emotions? If you received thoughts of hope for the future, would they influence your decisions? What kinds of thoughts would you like to receive? Ephesians 4:23 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.. . . Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Measuring Love

What are the true measurements of Love? Emotions are not the measurements of Love. Acts of service, overlooking faults, forgetting the painful past, enduring the undesirable present, these are the measurements of real Love. How much you are willing for your flesh to die for someone is the measurement of your Love. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. James 2:18 . . . Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
