death

The Most Powerful Weapon in the Cosmos

A nuclear bomb does not have the power to deliver the human heart from darkness and bondage. It is easy to bring death and darkness to earth.  My Love-Blood has greater power than a nuclear bomb. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. Song of Solomon 8:6-7 Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised.

The Highest Form of Love

Now is your chance to suffer and die for Me. It will soon be too late. Your chance to suffer for Me won’t last forever. Today won’t always be called today. Soon there will be no more todays and no more tears. Death is the highest form of Love. I died for you before it was too late and the chance was gone. Only while on earth can these things take place. Suffering is a privilege. Philippians 1:29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him, 30 having the same struggle that you saw I had and now hear that I have. 2 Corinthians 1:5 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which accomplishes in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we experience.… 2 Timothy 2:12 11 This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; 13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.… 1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Wild Dogs (2 of 5) – Book of Jude

Allow wild animals to remain in the wilderness until the wilderness brings them to the point of death . . . sometimes almost physical death, as well as death of self. Only death can bring life. Never rescue a wild, unbroken animal. Give them the freedom to make their own choice each day. All of the Book of Jude Jude 1:4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:10 But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively. 11 Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion. 12 These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; 13wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.

On being a slave

Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Hebrew 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Pointing out wrongs

Goodness and mercy follow Love. Death and destruction follow pointing out wrongs. Peaceful green pastures are full of Life-giving Love. Fill your house with My Love. Psalm 23:6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. 1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known  13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The Fountain of Youth

Are you looking for the fountain of youth? Look no further than your own soul.  Anger, unforgiveness, bitterness and self pity are what ages the body and the mind. Fear is the grandchild of anger. He brings death closer also. If fear is the grandchild of anger, what is the child of anger? Unbelief. An angry soul has no connection with God. Ephesians 4:31-32 Get rid of all hard feelings, anger and rage. Stop all fighting and lying. Don’t have anything to do with any kind of hatred. Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done. Galatians 5:19-25  19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, 21 envy,  drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit. 26 We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Fight!

I paid the highest, most pain-filled price for The Sword and the authority that goes with it. It\’s far too costly to let it sit and collect dust. Use it.  My death is not in vain. Use the Sword I bought for you to set your people free.  Never let it go to waste. I Love you! Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Matthew 10:1 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.

Follow the law of Love not reason

Do not follow the law of reason. That law ends in death. Follow the law of Love. The law of Love makes no sense and it costs you dearly but it brings Life. Love is without reason. I have an unreasonable Love for you. Galatians 5:14 The entire Law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.\” Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Do You Love Me?

Do you Love Me to death? Will you Love others to death of your self by sacrifice? John 21:15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
