Letters to Pearl

busyness

Opening the Window of Your Soul

There is no rest for those who live and sleep with strangers and remain apart from Us. Strangers are all dark influences, distractions, and enticements to your soul. How can you enter into true rest, when you leave the window to your soul open to the dark storms of wickedness, busyness, and dark thoughts, which are the darts of the enemy? I want you to enter into My rest. I want you to live in the Sabbath Day of My peace. James 1:14 But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. 15 Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death. Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24A nd those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

3. Get alone with Us every chance We provide. Choose intimacy with Us over distraction and busyness. Psalm 63:1-11 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, … Song of Solomon 2:10 My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, Mark 5:35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. Luke 5:16 but Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
