assumptions

Be Still, Listen, and Follow Me

Assumptions will lead you down the wrong path to confusion and dark places. Work hard to stay humbly behind Me. You are a blind sheep in training. I Am a patient Shepherd. We will begin again. Listen to My Voice and pay attention to My gentle leadings. There is no condemnation. Just open your heart to humbly learn. It is a process. I Love you! Isaiah 40:10-11 10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and His arm establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him. 11 He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes. Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Micah 5:4 He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth. Proverbs 3:1-10 Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you; take to heart my commands. They’ll help you live a long, long time, a long life lived full and well. Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!

Do Not Assume

Assuming is leaning on your own understanding. I cannot direct your path and you will not follow Me when you assume anything about others or the past or the future. Do not assume. When you assume you know where I Am going you are run ahead of Me. How can you follow Me if you do not remain behind Me? Follow Me and I will lead you to green pastures and still waters. John 10:27 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me . . . Proverbs 3:5 5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Love blinders like Abraham did

Abraham submitted to My blindfold. Will you? Keep your faith high through praise and memories of My works. Rehearse My Love for you. Use My music to keep your mind occupied, rather than let it wander. Clean your spirit house. Loose faith, peace, and love. Do not peer into the future. Assume your assumptions are wrong. Be led by Me and wait. Abraham had the vision but he blindly followed the path to reach it. Quietly discipline your mind to be at peace. Love the blinders like a warhorse. John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. . . 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 1 9He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

Be a Blind Sheep . . . Follow the Good Shepherd

Do not assume anything. Will you allow Me to blindfold you and then lead you one day at a time? Will you lean on Me and not your understanding about what I Am doing? Will you stop filling in the gaps of missing information by assuming? Just trust Me to lead you and accept the blindfold. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 1 Corinthians 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong.
