Got faith?

Do you consider yourself to be a person of faith? You can know how much faith you have by how patient you are. Are you willing to wait while I work with others behind the scenes? Are you willing to wait while your life seems to be falling apart? Are you willing to wait while others are slow or neglectful in their duties? Are you willing to wait on your own plans, while letting others have their needs met? How willing you are to wait is a gauge or indicator of how much faith you have in Me. No patience equals no faith. Lots of quiet patience and willingness to wait equals lots of faith. How much faith do you have in Me? James 2:4 have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Do not uncover the sins of another by thinking and talking about their sin. When you do you also uncover or open the door of your own spirit and allow darkness to enter. Love covers sin. It does not expose it. Ask Me to remove memory of the sin you saw so I can make your attitude toward that one pure and full of unhindered Love. Remember the heights of pride from which you yourself have fallen. You do not want Me to remember and expose your own sin.  Ask Me to help you notice that which is good in others. Then you can speak words of encouragement and good reports. Gen. 9:20-27 20 Now Noah became a farmer and decided to plant a vineyard. 21 One day he drank too much of the wine he had made and fell into a deep, drunken sleep in his tent. As he lay there stark naked, 22 Ham (the father of Canaan). peeked in and saw his father’s exposed body. After leaving the tent, he told his two brothers what he had seen. 23 So Shem and Japheth took a large cloak and laid it across their shoulders, and they walked backward into the tent. They never looked behind, as they covered their father’s nakedness. Out of respect, they purposely kept their faces turned away, so they wouldn’t see their father lying there naked. 24 When Noah regained consciousness and realized what his youngest son had done, 25 he uttered this curse: Noah: A curse upon your son, Canaan! May he become the lowest of servants to his brothers. 26 May the Eternal One, the God of Shem, be blessed, and let Canaan be his slave!27 May God make plenty of room for Japheth’s family and give them homes among Shem’s tents. And let Canaan be his slave also! Prov. 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs. Prov. 17:9 Those who forgive faults foster love,  but those who repeatedly recall them ruin relationships.
