Refiner’s Fire

I do not want you to continue to be blind to what is in your own heart. Trials and difficulties will put what is in your heart on display . . . whether it is Light or darkness. The fire of suffering will flush out all that is hidden within you. Luke 8:17 For nothing is concealed that won’t be revealed, and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and come to light. James 1:2-8  2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. 12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 3:9-12 10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be! 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers, can a fig tree grow olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Be Still, Listen, and Follow Me

Assumptions will lead you down the wrong path to confusion and dark places. Work hard to stay humbly behind Me. You are a blind sheep in training. I Am a patient Shepherd. We will begin again. Listen to My Voice and pay attention to My gentle leadings. There is no condemnation. Just open your heart to humbly learn. It is a process. I Love you! Isaiah 40:10-11 10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and His arm establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him. 11 He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes. Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Micah 5:4 He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth. Proverbs 3:1-10 Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you; take to heart my commands. They’ll help you live a long, long time, a long life lived full and well. Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!
