The evil one cannot multiply the damage of sin when you stand between them and the enemy. Overlooking faults, not taking them personally, understanding the power of darkness to work miserable selfishness within the souls around you is to overlook sin. Focusing on helping them, instead of exposing them, is to be their shield. 1 Peter 4:8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. 6 Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Colossians 3:1-2  1 Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.  Colossians 3:23-24 23 Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, 24 because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
