Do Not Be Overcome by Evil

Sin overcomes righteousness. It is a destroyer of peace. It leaves only loneliness, confusion, and hunger in its wake. Those who are trapped by the empty promises of fulfillment of sin are blinded to its destruction for a while. Sin is like a kite. It looks beautiful as it is flying effortlessly and giving fulfillment to the one who thinks he is controlling the kite. But sooner or later a wind current will prove to the one who thinks he is in control that he truly has no control over the kite. James 1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

The Source for Love

During the pleasant weather, the animals receive nourishment. They feast until they are fat with food. Then when the harsh weather arrives, they are safe from starvation. Feast on My Love. My Love for you will be your joy and strength during the harsh trials. Feast continually. Then you will not only have plenty of strength for yourself, but you will have an abundance for others who did not feast on My Love for themselves. John 4:34 34 Jesus explained, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. John 4:10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” John 4: 13 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
