MERCY: Born From Truth, Love, and Peace
To show mercy on another is to exist in a state of peaceful Truth yourself. Death begins with a lie. From there peace dissipates. Then the flesh sin joins powers of darkness to stir up pride. From that position you then view the outward circumstances and begin the process of judging. Your spirit is blocked from receiving Truth so you judge based on what you have . . . blinded understanding with separation from Love. Mercy is born from Truth, Love, and Peace. Deuteronomy 7:9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments Psalm 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Colossians 3:12-14 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 1 Peter 3:8-9 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing [The anatomy of sin] Genesis 3:1Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You can’t eat from any tree in the garden’? ”2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit from the trees in the garden. 3 But about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God said, ‘You must not eat it or touch it, or you will die.’ 4“No! You will not die,” [The Lie] the serpent said to the woman. 6 Then the woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom [Confusion] . So she took some of its fruit and ate it; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened. 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and they hid themselves [Shame] from the LORD God9 So the LORD God called out to the man and said to him, “Where are you? ” 10 And he said, “I heard You in the garden and I was afraid [Fear] because I was naked, so I hid.12 Then the man replied “The woman You gave to be with me [Blame] — she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate.”13 So the LORD God asked the woman, “What is this you have done? ”And the woman said, “It was the serpent. He deceived me, and I ate.”14 Then the LORD God said to the serpent. Because you have done this, you are cursed more than any livestock and more than any wild animal.[condemnation]
