Two people who are together without a choice do not achieve unity. They may have enjoyable times but they do not become “as one.” Two people who turn down all other enticing options and use all their will to be together achieve unity. Without the option of choosing sin and filling your self with darkness you could not have complete union of fellowship with Me. I had to give you other options. Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mankind, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? 2 Corinthians 6:14, 16-18 14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 16 “I will live with them and walk among them,  and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18 And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” Ephesians 5:11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 1 John 1:6 If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
