Serving Me is Not in Vain

Nothing done with Me is a waste. Be patient and you will see. Your life with Me will count for much. It will count for eternity. It will be for blessing. It will be forever a good thing. Matthew 6:26-27 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Psalm 84:11 The LORD is our protector and glorious king, blessing us with kindness and honor. He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right. Luke 6:22-23 Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. Be glad in that day and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For in the same way their fathers used to treat the prophets. 1 Peter 5:4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Do You Really Want Me?

To be with Me is both the easiest thing you will ever do and the hardest. Use your will. Desire Me. Turn from other desires and distractions and give your self over to one pursuit . . . Me. Jeremiah 29:13-14 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the LORD,  Jeremiah 24:7 I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart. Matthew 7:14 But the gate to life is very narrow. The road that leads there is so hard to follow that only a few people find it. Matthew 16:24, 25 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me…  Matthew 25:1, 10, 13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom… Those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut. . . Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

True worship is driven by Love

True worship is this: to wake every morning hungering for My Presence and My Kingdom with the same intensity as you hunger for another breath of fresh air. John 4: 34 Jesus explained, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. Psalm 42:1 As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, God. Luke 11: 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 11: 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
