1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud.

The evil one cannot multiply the damage of sin when you stand between them and the enemy. Overlooking faults, not taking them personally, understanding the power of darkness to work miserable selfishness within the souls around you is to overlook sin. Focusing on helping them, instead of exposing them, is to be their shield. 1 Peter 4:8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
