Letters to Pearl

The Invitation

There once was a rich young lady. She had many comforts of life. A young man came to her door. He had fallen in Love with her long ago. He offered her a home with Him. “No, thank you. I have a house,” said the woman. He offered her His strength and companionship. “No, thank you. I have these,” she replied. He offered her His Love and faithfulness. “I see that You are very good. Come and visit me sometime. That will be enough,” she said as she closed the door. The young man sadly walked away.

  • Revelation 3: 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. 21To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
