Year Two
6-1
The Highest Form of Faith
Don’t get discouraged. Be patient. Keep following Me. I know that patient endurance is difficult. Keep talking with Me. The more you and I fellowship together, the easier waiting becomes. Time flies when you are with the One Who fulfills you. Waiting is one of the highest forms of faith. The higher the faith, the more pain involved. Waiting is painful. You and I will wait together. You will be blindfolded while We wait, but that is okay. I see everything and you can follow My Voice.
James 1:2-4 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Romans 12:12 Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying.
6-2
Three Weeds
Impatience is the result of a lack of faith, pride, and fear. Recognize these three influences when the agitation of impatience rises up within you. Recognizing these influences is half the battle. Ask Me to show you all the details around these three weeds within you. Then ask Me to pull them out.
Proverbs 15:8 A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.
Psalm 37:7-8 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

James 1:5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
6-3
A Sweet Fragrance
Cooperate with Me by accepting the trials that demand exercises in patience with humility. When you submit to these circumstances, you open the doors of peace and trust. Those around you will absorb the glow of your settled calmness like a dry sponge absorbs water.
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—whom shall I dread?
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:
6-4
Stillness
High emotions serve as a steep cliff that you and others fall from. Do not allow yourself to indulge in high emotions. Someone will be injured. Remain patient, quiet, and calm at all times. Talk with Me. Be still and listen to Me.
2 Corinthians 10:5 we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

6-5
True Love
Since there is no one else who would hang on the cross and take your sin, just to have intimacy with you, why would you attach yourself to a person or a religion or a group or an identity or a career or a future or a past or an attitude, other than the One Who proved His unmatched Love for you? Detach your soul from all but Me. Only I died for you. Only I truly Love you. Do not be deceived. Attach to Me alone. Serve others. Attach to Me. Minister and do good to others. Be intimate only with Me. Only I Truly Love you. I Am all you need. I will fulfill you.
Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
6-6
Wholly Devoted
Will you marry Me in the sense that you attach your being only to Me? Will you let Me replace all other false sources of love in your life? Will you let Me surround you and fill you with Myself alone? You will become Light, as I Am Light. The closer We draw to each other, the more you will be like Me. I Am pure Light and in Me is no darkness at all. Will you let go of all else and marry yourself only to Me? Serve those on Earth you are committed to. Do good to them. Be faithful to them. Do not leave them. But marry your spirit to Me.

Romans 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
6-7
Catalyst for Change
To hope is to desire change. I Am holding all things together with the power of My Love. I hold all things, so nothing can change or move without My power. Therefore, to hope is to desire My Will. Prayer, or talking with Me, is the catalyst for change.
Deuteronomy 8:2 God does not test us to find out what we will do; He tests us to let us know what we will do.

6-8
Purposeful Plans
When you desire Me and trust in My plans, then you will talk to Me about those plans as they include others and yourself. While We are talking about My plans, I will show you the beauty of all My plans, including those in the past. As you desire My plans over your own, your hope becomes reality. Talk to Me about your desires. Place your hope and trust in Me. I hold all in My Hand. All changes belong to Me. Let’s talk.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, 19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
6-9
Draw Near Me
As you draw near to Me, I draw near to you. How near I Am to you in intimacy depends on how near you draw to Me. Your desire is the control I hand over to you. How much intimacy with Me you desire is how much you will receive. There is no limit to the amount of intimacy with each other We can enjoy. I want you to want Me!
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. . .

6-10
Insights on Intimacy
The more intimate two people are, the less they communicate about temporary, shallow, surface-level things. As their intimacy grows, their understanding of each other grows. Their trust in each other grows. Their desire for union with each other grows. Their conversation is limited to the most deeply personal subjects. Fewer words are needed as they can finish each other’s thoughts. Their beings become as one.
John 10:30 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. . .

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.
6-11
The Lover of Your Soul
What I have described (true intimacy). is not consistently possible between two humans. That is the deception of the enemy. That kind of intimacy is only possible with the one True Lover of your soul . . . Me. Will you marry Me in intimacy of soul? This is what you were made for. Only I can fulfill your need for Love. All else will eventually fail.
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other You cannot serve God and wealth.
John 10:9 I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture. 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.
6-12
A Hidden Snare
When you have strength, determination, resources, knowledge, and plans, then you have independence. When you are able to “stand on your own two feet” and accomplish your goals, then you are independent. When you are independent, you are strong . . . or so you think. The Truth is that those sought-after states are traps. Independence is a flavored poison or a hidden snare.
1 Corinthians 10:12-13 12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Philippians 4:9 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
6-13
Only the Weak
The more independent you are, the farther you are walking away from Me. Only the weak are close enough to Me to lean upon My Arm, feel My warmth, hear My gentle Voice, see Me smiling on them, and feel My Love flowing through them. Only the most humble and weak have the pleasure of experiencing My Arms lifting them and carrying them through their days on Earth. The strong and independent ones miss out on so much.
2 Corinthians 2:9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me. 10 That is why, for the sake of Christ, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

6-14
The Blindfold
You are My sheep and I Am your Shepherd. You are My child and I Am your Loving Father. You are My bride and I Am your caring and gentle Husband. I have placed a blindfold around your eyes so that you cannot see into the future. You cannot see all the present either. I gave you the blindfold as a gift. It is the gift of dependence upon Me. The more you depend upon Me, the closer We draw to each other. To be close to you is My great desire.

Psalm 44:3 It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.
6-15
Blindness vs Blindfolded
Do not confuse blindness with being blindfolded. Blindness is a defect. A sense that I gave you is not being used when you are blind. I placed a blindfold on you as a gift to you. The blindfold protects you from independence. It protects you from pride which causes you to fall. It is also like a weight that causes the muscle of faith to grow stronger. To be blinded to Truth is to accept a defect. To be blindfolded is to accept a gift. Turn from blindness and humbly accept the gift of the blindfold.
Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped;

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
John 9:39 Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”
6-16
Love and Sacrifice
Never give something to someone for the purpose of receiving appreciation or gratitude from them. Give to others when I tell you . . . out of obedience and blindfolded faith in Me. Give to others out of humble service. Do not expect anything in return from them. Do not desire anything from them at all . . . not Love, not honor, not thoughtfulness, not respect. Only look to Me as your Reward. Freely give to others as I lead. Then you will freely receive what you truly need from Me.
Matthew 10:29 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

1 John 3:16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
6-17
Chasing the Wind
Give up your dreams. Exchange them for Mine. Your dreams of security, comforts, relationships, stability are literally the substance of dreams you have while you sleep. To chase after them is like chasing after the wind. They seem real and attainable but, when you think you are getting close, they disappear like a mirage. Let them go. Come to Me instead. I Am Real. I do not change or disappear.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope

Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us–none can compare to You–if I would proclaim and declare of them, they are more than could be numbered.
6-18
A Hope and a Future
I Am your source of security, Love, and fulfillment. Chase after Me and My plans for you. I promise you will catch Me. You and I will together experience Real Life that is more satisfying than any dream you can imagine. Stop your mind from re-playing your dreams and plans. Talk to Me instead. Listen to Me and I will show you Real visions and Life-goals.

Ephesians 5:15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6: 31-33 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
6-19
The Chase
External beauty, talent, and skills are just that . . . external. When you chase after externals, then you get just that . . . externals.

He was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him, for he is the one.”13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David from that day forward. Then Samuel set out and went to Ramah. But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or height, for I have rejected him; the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart.”
6-20
Straddling the Fence
There is no such thing as neutrality. A country may declare itself to be neutral during wars between its neighbors, but it is not neutral. Inaction is action. Allowing sin to exist is not neutrality. Refusing to get involved is getting involved. Your answer cannot be both “yes” and “no.” Neutrality is a lie of Satan.

A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.

James 5:20 Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins
6-21
No Neutrality
There is nothing in between Light and dark. There is only one or the other. Not choosing is to choose darkness. Therefore, darkness wants you to desire nonexistent grayness or neutrality. Choose Light. Choose Me, even if the Truth costs you your life. You will have escaped a worse fate.

Refiner’s Fire
I do not want you to continue to be blind to what is in your own heart. Trials and difficulties will put what is in your heart on display . . . whether it is Light or darkness. The fire of suffering will flush out all that is hidden within you.
Luke 8:17 For nothing is concealed that won’t be revealed, and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and come to light.
James 1:2–8 12 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. 12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
James 3:9-12 10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be! 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers, can a fig tree grow olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
