Letters to Pearl

September

Year Four

9-1

The Price for Peace
Peacefulness comes with complete submission. But the submission must be complete. The baby chick cannot be under the wings of her mother hen unless she has completely submitted. This was Israel’s problem. They never completely submitted. Therefore I could not gather them under my wings.

  • Matt 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.”

9-2

The Road to Healing
The biggest step people have to take on the road to healing is the first step of turning away from sin and turning toward Me. After that the road gets much easier.

  • Joshua 24:14 Now, therefore, fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

9-3

Infinite and Everlasting Love
I Love you with a passion that you cannot control.

  • Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Psalm 103:11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
  • Psalm 103:17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.

9-4

Be Imitators of Me
It is not possible for those who have tender mercies and humble compassion on others to be self-righteous.

  • Colossians 3:12 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
  • Philippians 2:1-3 1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves
  • Mark 9:35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
  • Matthew 6:2 So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
  • Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

9-5

I Will be Found
Seek Me. When you stop seeking Me, you stop finding Me.

  • Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
  • Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
  • 2 Chronicles 15:2 The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

9-6

The Great Exchange
You did not deserve Me, but I deserve you. You did not earn Me, but I earned you. You are My desire. You are My pearl of great price. I bought and paid for you, My precious treasure.

  • Matthew 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. 46 When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it.
  • Ephesians 5:2 And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
  • Matthews 2&;28-29 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.
  • Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
  • John 15:3 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
  • 1 Corinthians 16:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

9-7

Haves and Have-Nots
There are the Haves and the Have-nots. The Have-nots want not. They look at the Haves and tell them they should not.

  • Matthew 23:13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
  • Luke 11:52 Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.

9-8

The Secret to True Peace
Peacefulness comes with complete submission. But the submission must be complete. The baby chick cannot be under the wings of her mother hen unless she has completely submitted. This was Israel’s problem. They never completely submitted. Therefore I could not gather them under my wings.

  • Matthew 23:37″ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
  • Matthew 6:9-10 “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

9-9
Two Questions
Remember the two questions I will soon ask you: During your time on the earth, did you learn how to Love? Did you learn how to die?

  • Matthew 22:37-39 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
  • 1 John 4:7-8 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
  • Matthew 5:44-45 “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
  • Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
  • Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
  • Galatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
  • Mark 8:35 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.

9-10

Minding the Mind
Minds are like unruly children. They must be disciplined and kept under tight control. Where is yours today?

  • Colossians 3:1Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
  • Romans 12:And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

9-11

Do not fear the storm
Do not fear the storm tossed waves of the seas around you. Have I not set boundaries around each sea and each human spirit? Therefore, do not be afraid of what man can do. Recognize and fear My power, which is unlimited. Recognize the boundaries I have placed around each human soul. Though they rage and toss like the ocean waves, they cannot cross the boundaries I have set in place. Do not be afraid. I Am with you.

  • Job 38:8-11 8 Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb; 9 When I made a cloud its garment and thick darkness its swaddling, 10 And I placed boundaries on it and set a bolt and doors, 11 And I said, thus far you shall come, but no farther; and here shall your proud waves stop’?
  • Romans 8:31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

9-12

Read the sea of your soul
Learn to recognize when the sea of your own soul is tossing with swells and waves. Know that is a warning sign that something is wrong within you. Come to Me and wait, expecting to receive Truth. Do not trust your own thoughts. Wait in silence. I will show you what you are allowing within your self that is tossing your spirit. Be quick to repent and allow the pain of Truth to do it’s work. The sea of your spirit will then return to calm, smooth, still waters that reflect My peace.

  • Job 38:8-11  8 Or who enclosed the sea with doors when, bursting forth, it went out from the womb; 9 When I made a cloud its garment and thick darkness its swaddling, 10 and I placed boundaries on it and set a bolt and doors, 11 and I said, ‘Thus far you shall come, but no farther; and here shall your proud waves stop’?
  • Psalm 62:1-2 1 My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.

9-13

Don’t be a beggar, be a chooser
Beggars cannot be choosers. I prefer that My people come to Me before the winds of suffering, while they are still choosers. Suffering turns them into beggars. Come to Me because you choose Me, not because you beg Me to ease the suffering.

  • Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, 20 loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
  • Romans 8: 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

9-14

Be like an eagle
As the eagle and the hawk soar above troubled waters, so I also want you to fly right past the sins of others. If the eagle or hawk stopped to evaluate the waves of the lake then they would be in danger. Don’t evaluate the sins of those around you. I Love you. Focus on My Presence within you.

  • 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;b 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things . . .
  • Proverbs 19:11  Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

9-15

Love is patient

  • I have waited for you to know Me for a very long time.
  • How was I able to wait so long in peace?
  • I waited without fear.
  • When you wait with fear, impatience crouches at the door of your heart.
  • Wait for those you love without fear.
  • Wait in peace.
  • Just as I waited for you.
    • Psalm 27:14  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord
    • Revelation 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True.

9-16

Let There be Peace
Be the place of freedom and peace for those near you.

  • Don’t feed them pressure – they eat large amounts of pressure daily.
  • Don’t feed them stress – their loads are already heavy.
  • Don’t feed them criticism – their spirits are about to break.
  • Don’t feed them information- they are already on information overload.
  • Don’t feed them disappointment- their dreams are already gone.
  • Instead, feed them what they don’t have – Love, acceptance, silent peace, words of comfort, and eyes that are blind to their faults.
    • Galatians 6:2 Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the Law of Christ.
    • 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 12For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

9-17

Give Peace not Pressure
You are My place of peace in the world. Bring peace. Banish pressure. I Love you!

  • John 14:27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

9-18
Love gives, not preaches . . .
Therefore, do not preach Love, but rather, give Love.  Love, Itself, will do all the preaching.

  • Hosea 11:4  I led them with cords of kindness, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.

9-19

Think on these things
Do not think about how different you and your difficult one(s). are.

Instead, meditate on how much you have in common. You both have experienced pain. You both have experienced conflict.

  • You both have experienced confusion and disappointment.
  • You both have made terrible choices.
  • You both have dreams.
  • You both have My Breath inside of you.
  • You both need Love.
  • You both need mercy.
  • You both need Truth.
  • You both need patience.
  • You both value kindness.
  • You both came from My Heart.
  • You both are My children.
  • He or she is your brother or sister.
  • You both belong to Me.

Now, begin making a list of what you and your difficult one(s). have in common. Ask Me to open the eyes of your heart so you can see.

Begin your list with:

We both need forgiveness.

  • 1 John 2:9 Whoever says, “I am in the light,” while hating a brother or sister, is still in the darkness. 10 Whoever loves a brother or sister lives in the light, and in such a person there is no cause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates another believer is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know the way to go, because the darkness has brought on blindness.
  • 1 John 3:16 We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
  • 1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

9-20

It’s a new day
It’s a new day – a fresh morning and a fresh new beginning. All things are brand new. So leave yesterday behind. We begin a new day.

Leave the hurts, memories and troubles of yesterday behind as if they are in a grave. Walk away from them and begin this new day. Don’t bring dead things into the new Life of today.

See the fresh new morning Light? Hear the birds’ excitement about the new day? Feel My Love for you and My happy anticipation about all you and I will do together today?

Yes, today is a good day. I Am here in this day. We start fresh.  A new beginning.

The new Life of a baby is exciting because it’s new. Celebrate a new day of your Life with Me. We begin anew. Good things are happening because I Am working! Work with Me today.

  • I Love you!
    • Revelation 21:5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
    • Matthew 1 they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”
    • Ecclesiastes 11:7 Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.

9-21

Holes or ditches have a purpose
Holes or ditches have a purpose Trust Me.

  • Bind and cast darkness out of your soul.
  • Quietly give Love.
  • Banish thoughts not based on My Love.
  • Remain content. I will lift you up.
  • I will give you rest as you wait.
  • Even holes or ditches have a purpose.
  • I Am the Builder of your faith.
  • You are the Apple of My eye.
    • Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
    • Matthew 16:19; 18:18 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

9-22
I Am not religion . . . choose whom you will serve
I Am not religion. Religion is not Me. Choose which you want. You cannot have both. I Am the Lord Most High. You shall have no other gods before Me.

  • Deuteronomy 10:12 Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul
  • Romans 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
  • Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

9-23
True Sacrifices involves pain
Waiting on Me is not only a higher form of faith but it is also an acceptable and holy sacrifice that you choose to offer to Me. Remember that all real sacrifices involve pain or they are no sacrifice at all. Waiting is painful. Waiting on Me is holy and beautiful in My sight.

  • Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service
  • Hebrews 13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased
  • Psalm 51:17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise

9-24
How Strength is Measured

When you see the opportunity to make a sacrifice for Me, don’t think about how little strength you have to face the difficulty.

Think about My strength that I will give you during your sacrifice.

  • Isaiah 40:29  He gives strength to the weak. And He gives power to him who has little strength.

9-25
No Sacrifice is Wasted
The more sacrifices you make for Me, the more you will experience My faithfulness
And the more miracles you will see and be a part of.

  • 1 John 3:16 We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.

9-26
True Freedom
What is real freedom? To live according to your own desires and without conflict,
Or, is real freedom the ability to Live each moment without:

  • Anger
  • Unforgiveness
  • Fear
  • Addiction
  • Jealousy
  • Being bound by opinions
  • Unstable emotions

Freedom comes from intimacy with Me.
Freedom requires sacrifice.
Intimacy requires sacrifice.

To go deeper into God, go deeper into sacrifice. There you will find True Freedom.

I Am sacrificial Love. Follow Me into Freedom.

  • Ephesians 5:1 Become, then, followers of God, as children beloved, 2 and walk in love, as also the Christ did love us, and did give himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell

9-28
The End of Guilting
I took away the guilt of the world. Why do you want to return guilt to their shoulders? Making someone feel guilty invites darkness into two souls – yours and theirs. Do not seek to undo My work. I set people free. You do the same. Let My people go.

  • John 8:11 “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared.

9-29
Break the Habit of Guilting
The desire to make someone feel guilty comes from a particular darkness within you called, Resentment. Resentment isn’t a feeling. It’s a darkness. Banish it from your soul in My Name. Replace it with a particular Light called, Goodwill.

  • Luke 2 14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

9-30
Nothing Will Be Impossible
How do you walk on high places without falling? You don’t look down. You keep your head up. You look straight ahead. You focus on where you are going. When you are surrounded by darkness and danger, what do you do? Don’t look down at it.

Look at My greatness. Keep your eyes on Me. Remember We are together. Focus on Me, the Author of your faith.

  • Hebrews 12:2 …looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
