Year Four
10-1
Love is a Choice
Trust is a decision or a choice that you make. It is not a logical conclusion. It is not an intellectual agreement. It is an act of your will or desire. You can have facts and proof but yet still be unsure and suspicious. To trust someone is an act of your heart and not of your mind. Trust Me from your heart. True Love is blind. True faith is unreasonable.
- Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him
10-2
Who do you want?
If someone asks you, “Why do you trust God?” Your true answer is, “Because I want God.” If you ask someone why they do not trust God, the Truth is that they do not want God.
- Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.
10-3
Pure Love creates real beauty
Only pure Love can create real beauty. Nothing else has the power to bring forth beauty. True beauty that is full of goodness and Truth comes from the Light of Love. A heart that is connected only to the pure selfless Love of Jesus has the ability to create real beauty. All other creations are dark, lifeless substitutes.
- 1 John 1:5 And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:5 For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
10-4
Give Me your time. Nothing will be wasted.
Time is only wasted when you think you own it. You consider an item, like gas, that you bought to be yours, as being wasted when it is not used in the manner you choose. Give Me your time. When your time belongs to Me then not a second is wasted. Let Me be the Judge of how effective it is. My time, time which you give to Me, is never wasted. I Am the only True Judge of time.
- Psalm 43:3 O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.
- Psalm 16:7-8 I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
- Psalm 73:23-24 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, And afterward receive me to glory.
- Psalm 32:8-9 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you. Isaiah
- 48:17-18 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. “If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
- Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
10-5
Your sacrifices are not in vain
The Israelites endured long marches around the high and thick walls of Jericho and had many unpleasant and painful things dumped on their heads. Were any of their marches around and around the hard, stony walls in vain? Then neither are your marches of Love and kindness around the hard and closed hearts of those I have assigned you to. Keep moving forward.
- Joshua 6: 20 So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.
- Ezekiel 36:26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
10-6
Learning to hear My voice
My written Word is to serve as a reminder for you to listen to My spoken Word, to you, through My Voice. My written Word tells you to listen to Me. It is like a parent who tells their child valuable information. To keep the child focused on the valuable information, the parent also writes it down in a note.
- John 10:27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
- Jeremiah 29:12-13 “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
- Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths”
10-7
Ears to Hear
My written Word shows you what happened to those who stopped listening to My spoken Words, to them, and listened to the voices of demons and their own flesh instead.
- 1 Samuel 1:19 Why did you not obey the Lord? Why did you pounce on the plunder and do evil in the eyes of the Lord?”22 But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? 24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned. I violated the Lord’s command and your instructions.
- Genesis 15:4 Then the word of the Lord came to him:
- 2 Samuel 7:4 But that night the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying:
- 1 Kings 6:11 The word of the Lord came to Solomon:
- Isaiah 38:4 Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah:
10-8
Learn to listen
My written Word teaches you how to focus on My Voice. Ask Me with a pure heart and I will show you.
- 1 Samuel 3:8So the LORD called Samuel again for the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli discerned that the LORD was calling the boy. 9And Eli said to Samuel, “Go lie down, and it shall be if He calls you, that you shall say, ‘Speak, LORD, for Your servant is listening.'”
- John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
- Acts 2:17 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
- John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
10-9
A weapon or a gift?
I gave you your memory. Now use it for good and not for evil. It was never meant to be a weapon.
- John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- Matthew 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
10-10
Waiting in perfect peace
Freedom and relief do not come through answers to all your questions. Freedom and relief come through acceptance and quiet trust.
- Exodus 15: 2“The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him.
- Isaiah 40:28Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.30Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;31but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
10-11
Intimacy through dying to self
It is through death that you and I draw near to each other. You are never so close to Me as you are when you are selflessly dying for Me.
- Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- Galatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
- John 17:21that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one. . .
- Philippians 2:3Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name. . .
10-12
Their motto is, “Divide and conquer
The lying demons are dividing hearts and attention. Unite with the ones who have resisted them. Pray and serve. Pray and keep silent. Pray together with those who have united hearts for Jesus. Do this in secret on behalf of those whose hearts have been divided. Do it in Love as a rescuer, not as a judge, remembering that all are vulnerable. Don’t be afraid. United hearts that unite in prayer to Me and unite with My Love for the divided ones send great rescuing power. I will will bring a mirror to the divided hearts to show them the Truth. Be ready with humble forgiveness. Soldiers, unite under the banner of Love.
- Ephesians 4: 32Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
- Colossians 3:12Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- 1 Corinthians 2:5For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
10-13
The Blame Game
- Evil spirits want to draw you into sin.
- They often use the little known tactic of blame.
- Blaming others is a sin that does not appear to be sinful but that is what makes it so destructive.
- Blame is a habit that only humble Truth can break.
- Blame prevents Love. Blame brings a dark cloud that covers Light and Life.
- Blame invites demonic oppression to torment others.
- When you blame you increase the pain and darkness in the world.
- That is the irony of the sin of blame.
- The host of the demons of blame seek justice and freedom from pain but, through blame, they only increase the misery.
- Only the Truth of your own sin and the knowledge of how much pain you have inflicted upon others can break the habit of blame.
-
- Proverbs 11:9 With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.
- 1 Peter 2:19 For God is pleased with you when you do what you know is right and patiently endure unfair treatment.
10-14
Love Bears all things
When others blame you, remember that they are doing what they were taught to do since they came into the world.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love . . . does not take into account a wrong suffered
- Proverbs 19: 11 A person’s wisdom makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.
10-15
Blame . . . the evidence of sin
If you are blaming others then you are avoiding the reality of your own sin. Avoiding your own sin is like treating cancer by denial. Sin, like cancer, won’t just go away. Blame is evidence of sin.
- Matthew 7:3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
- Proverbs 28:13 Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
- Romans 2:1 Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
10-16
Wash your feet everyday
As you and I journey through your life on earth together, we will both keep Our washing water of forgiveness and Our wiping towel of forgetting handy. When the dirt of the cursed ground sticks to your feet, I will wash and wipe them clean. When the dirt of the cursed ground clings to the feet of others near you, you are to wash and wipe them clean. Then You and I will continue moving forward. Always continue going forward. I Love you, My perfect one.
- John 13:4 . . .rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. 5Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. 6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?” 7Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” 8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” 9Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean . . .
10-17
He uses all things for good
- You cannot make a mistake that We cannot correct. We will use your mistakes.
- You cannot break something that We cannot fix. We will build upon your brokenness.
- You cannot lose something that We cannot find. We will bring hope to others through your humble failures.
- We can use mistakes, brokenness and failures more than We can use great achievements.
- Come to Us in peace. We will comfort you.
-
- 2 Corinthians 12: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
- Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
- Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
10-18
Who do you serve?
You cannot truly Love without the help of God. But, you can easily hate along with Satan.
- 1 John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love
- 1 John 2:9Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. 11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
10-19
The Test of Love
If you Love another with a Love that gives of itself until it hurts then you have God within.
But, if you hate, taking from others until you are gratified, then you have demons within.
10-20
Test Your Heart
You cannot have real Love without having God. But, if your love is selfish at all, then it is not from God. Unselfish Love hurts or costs the giver. It is formed in an act that is a free gift to another. Selfish love only gratifies the giver. God is not in it.
- 1 Corinthians 13:5 . . .Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
10-21
Love and Sacrifice
There is always a price to be paid for Real Love. You cannot pay this price without the help of God.
- Ephesians 5:1-2Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God”
- Luke 6:27 “But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 To the person who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other as well, and from the person who takes away your coat, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your possessions back from the person who takes them away. 31 Treat others in the same way that you would want them to treat you. 32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to be repaid, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, so that they may be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
10-22
Real Love Never Stops Loving
Selfish love does not pay a price. It only looks to gain. It begins and ends quickly. Selfish love is like a firecracker. It may put on a show but it quickly comes to an end. God is not there.
- Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfishness or conceit, but with humility consider others as more important than yourselves,
- 1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never comes to an end
10-23
Finding Real Love
There is Real Love in all Joy and Joy in all Real Love.
There is Real Love in all Sorrow and Sorrow in all Real Love.
There is Pain in all True Love and True Love in all Pain.
Ask Me to open your eyes.
- Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfishness or conceit, but with humility consider others as more important than yourselves,
- 1 Corinthians 18 Love never comes to an end
10-24
Let Us renew Our vows
When a married couple has troubles, they often renew their vows of marriage to each other and strengthen their determination. Today, and every day, let Us renew Our vows to each other.
When you feel the pressure of your flesh pulling your attention away from Me, renew your vows to Me. When you are walking through a fiery trial, renew Our vows. You say yours to Me and I will repeat Mine to you.
When you face the unknown, let’s renew Our vows. When you are rejected, accused, and stolen from, let’s renew Our Vows. Listen to My Voice within and I will guide you.
The first Holy communion was a time of making Our vows to you. It is a marriage of spirits, yours and Mine. Take communion often and repeat your vows with Me as I repeat Mine to you.
When you and I repeat Our vows of commitments and Love to each other we build thicker walls of protection around your faith and trust in My Love for you. A wife whose husband declares his love and commitment to her every day is a wife who sleeps well each night. I want you to rest in My Love. Let’s renew Our vows to each other. I Love you!
- Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
10-25
Holy separated to Jesus
Be holy. To be holy is to be separated for Me within your heart. To be holy is to take on My purity and Love. To be holy is to identify your life with Mine only.
When a woman marries a man, within her heart, she leaves the world behind. She takes on his life goals, ways of living, and attitudes. What makes him happy is now what makes her happy. What fills him with pain fills her with pain also.
- 1 John 3:16 We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
10-26
Making your vows
When you make your vows to Me with all your heart you separate your life to Me, you separate yourself from the past. You separate yourself from your desires. You take on My Life and person. You become separated from the world and live within My heart. You become holy.
- Matthew 10:39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[a] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
10-27
The Rescuer
Holiness a separation. Light and darkness are separated. Light does not run away from darkness. Light is a rescuer. Light reaches those who are blinded by darkness.
- John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
10-28
Be Holy as I Am holy
Be holy. Be separated from the darkness by declaring your vows to Me. Then We will bring cleansing Light into the darkness. Together We will serve, give, heal, forgive and forget, and bring holiness into the lives of those around you.
I Am the Holiest of Holy Servants. Be holy with Me. Take your vows and serve in holy Love with me. You are holy. You are with Me.
- 1 Peter 1:15-16 But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
- Psalm 24:3-4 “Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.”
10-29
Holiness . . . What is it?
My holiness is not the same as the world’s. My holiness begins and ends with relationships. It begins with your relationship with Me. It grows in your relationship with Me. It expands from there into your relationships with those I place around you. It doesn’t avoid the darkness. It pushes back the darkness with Our Love. Holiness is separation to Some One, not from someone. Our togetherness doesn’t end relationships, it changes them.
- Leviticus 20:24, 26 I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people. And ye shall be holy unto me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from other people that ye should be Mine.
- Numbers 6:5, 8 Until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separated himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy…. All the days of his separation he is holy unto the Lord.
- Hebrews 13:12, 13 Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us therefore go forth unto Him without the camp, bearing His reproach.
10-30
Remember the picture:
Papa uses cold blasts of wind to motivate His little one to leave the outside world, and all that goes with it, to come Home, be cleansed and Loved, and tucked into a warm bed of peace where you can rest.
In the end, thank Papa for the cold blasts of wind rather than resenting them.
- Romans 8:28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
10-31
I Am the great and patient teacher
My child, don’t you know that I will always treat you as a student and never as a graduate? This means I will always give you the help that you need. I will repeat the lessons, give you examples to follow, model the assignments, begin with easy steps, teach slowly and give many second chances and repeats. I will give you the answers during each quiz. You and I will go through each lesson together. I will be your Helper, Guide and personal Tutor. You cannot fail. I expect you to be a student and not an expert. I will always understand your need for help. I Love you
-
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.
1 Thessalonians 4:9 Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;
