Love and Jealousy Cannot Coexist

Jealousy and desire for control will destroy relationships and even countries. Israel loved both Saul and David. They were proud of both. Saul’s jealousy of David forced the Israelites to choose between the two men they loved. Both had defended them. Both had been chosen by God. Now there was a forced division. If Saul had succeeded in killing David half of Israel also would have died because they would lose trust in their leader, ceased following him in battle, lose morale and then be overrun by their enemies. Stop jealousy and discontentment as soon as it enters your mind. Cast it out. Give thanks for Our Love and where We placed you. We are good. We know best.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Galatians 5:14-15 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

Psalm 37:1-3 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
