But if that same man then leaves his house, business, friends, and financial investments to travel to where the woman is held a prisoner and gives his life to set her free then His symbol has power. It is no longer just a symbol. It is a Truth.
A student can gain a high grade but the mark is only a powerless symbol until the student applies the knowledge to a job and succeeds. Then the symbol of the grade has power. It is truth.
