THOUGHTS This is a 12 day series. Answer the questions one day at a time. Read each question and take time to think about the answer. Don’t skip ahead. Ponder the questions for a whole day. Make observations. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal things to you. Day 1 Test your mind! When your phone rings, the first thing you want to know is, who’s calling? Is your mind private? Are all your thoughts created by you? Or are others calling you and talking to you in your head? If so, who are they? What do they want? 1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God Are you alone with your thoughts? Are all the thoughts actually “thoughts “ or are they messages? Is our mind like a sealed vault? Or is it more like a radio receiver? How private are our own thoughts? If our own thoughts are not private, who else is listening? If the words in your head are not all formed by ourselves, who else is talking to us? Do we have any control over the invasion?

Truth, Love and Lies

Truth is stronger than a lie. Just as love always wins, truth always prevails. Lies can’t last forever, but truth is eternal. Lies are always eventually contained but truth has no walls. Don’t be afraid of lies. Be patient. Truth will always prevail. I Am the Way, the Truth and Life. I Am is here. Every lie will eventually be exposed. Time is on our side. Think eternity versus temporary. I Am with you, don’t be afraid! John 17:16 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Fighting Darkness

How do you fight darkness, fear, anger and depression in those around you? How do you fight confusion, deception and lies? How do you win each battle within your own mind and heart? The answer to all these questions lies within the most powerful weapon in the world . . . My Love. My Love is the answer to all your needs. Do you have difficult people who are deceived nearby? Ask Me to pour My perfect love for them into your heart.  Yes, YOUR HEART. You see, love must enter your heart first.  You must have my love within you before I can use you to pour love on them.  How can you share living water when your own cup is empty? Come to Me.  Be still before Me.  Open your heart and receive My love for you. Then, ask Me to pour My love into you for those who are blind and spiritually handicapped. Above all, forgive. Ask Me to make your forgiveness real. Ask Me to cleanse even your memories that seek to plague you and rob you of peaceful relationships. Come to Me with the desire for the living water of My love to wash away all of your painful past. Let’s walk together in supernatural love towards the difficult ones. Every miracle begins with one thing . . . love. There are no miracles without real, forgiving, accepting, patient, kind and serving LOVE. I Am the source of all real love. There is no love apart from Me. Come to Me all you are heavily burdened and I will give you rest. What is that rest like? The most comforting love. I will cause even your enemies to be at peace with you when you and I together fill them with love. I love you! 1 John 4:18 Perfect love casts out fear. Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Emotions and frustrations

When you know you cannot do anything else to help the hardened ones near you, give them to Me and work on yourself. Recognize your weakness and come to Me. Bind and cast out the enemy who wants to upset you. Fight that good fight. Submit to God, resist the devil’s attempts to upset you, and he will flee away. Never forget that I gave you authority to send him running away from you. Repent from all self pity.  I placed you in a strategic position. Don’t run. Send your flesh running instead.  I Am here.  I love you.  My strength is sufficient for you.  You will have just what you need.  Keep coming to Me. James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Discerning Truth

Do you trust what your eyes see and your physical ears hear? Remember that the outer world can be manipulated. Remember that Satan is a liar and his children follow his example. For those who seek the Truth, I will reveal Truth. I Am the Way, the Truth and the Light. Come to Me for the truth. The vehicle that carries My strength

How we wait on God makes a difference! “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”  The quality of your waiting determines the amount of strength you receive. Do you wait with loud emotions?  They will block the full amount of strength you can receive. Wait in calm, confident peace. Suppress whirlwind thoughts and emotions.  Calm yourself like a weaned child who knows dinner is coming.  Quietness is the vehicle that carries My strength to your body and soul. Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: \”In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…” Rest your soul. The Fountain of Youth

Are you looking for the fountain of youth? Look no further than your own soul.  Anger, unforgiveness, bitterness and self pity are what ages the body and the mind. Fear is the grandchild of anger. He brings death closer also. If fear is the grandchild of anger, what is the child of anger? Unbelief. An angry soul has no connection with God. Ephesians 4:31-32 Get rid of all hard feelings, anger and rage. Stop all fighting and lying. Don’t have anything to do with any kind of hatred. Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done. Galatians 5:19-25  19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, 21 envy,  drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit. 26 We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Here is the Truth!

My people are looking for some good news in the middle of the bombardment of bad news. Here is the Truth. Here is the good news you need to hear: We are winning! We are victorious! You are on the winning side of the war between light and darkness. You are with Me and I Am with you. We won’t fail because I never fail. Love always wins. At the end of the day, I win. So, cheer up. Lift up your hands and celebrate because I Am winning all of the battles that you see around you. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Run the race to win . . . Do not give up!!

I Am with you. Do not be afraid. There is no other God above Me. There is no other Name above My Name. No one shall speak against Me and My people and win. There is no race set before you that you will not win. The only way you will not win is if you quit. Therefore do not lay down your weapons of faith. Do not give up. There will be an end. We will win. You must not quit or throw up your hands in despair. Am I not the Lord of hosts? Am I not the Almighty One? Trust in Me and My Love for you and your children. Yes, I see what the enemy has done to your children. Know this, says the Lord Most High, the wicked will not go unpunished. They will be removed from their small thrones and their plans will be demolished and come to an end. I will save and rescue your children and they will learn from their foolishness and earthly wisdom. They will see the difference between good and evil. They will gain in understanding when they see the revealing of Truth. Lift up your heads and see My Hands at work. Lift up your hearts and allow the peace of My Spirit come in. Sit before Me in quietness and stillness. Sit with Me in confidence and patience while I work. I Am the Lord your God and there is no battle that I will not win. I promise. I Love you. Psalm 5: 11-12 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield. Ephesians 6:6-13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. 17 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. 1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours! Psalm 18:30 This God – his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
