Stop, Ask, Listen, Follow

How can you choose with your will if you run through the choices without pausing? The enemy would have you rush through your day to prevent those Truth-telling pauses. Stop. Talk to Me. Detect Light or darkness. Then proceed with your choice. James 1:19 Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry. Proverbs 18:13 If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame Proverbs 1:7 The fear to the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

Slow Down

You see, to choose to see the difference between Light and darkness, so you can then choose Light, you must slow down. You must take the time to inquire and receive Truth from Me. Mark 4: 21-25 He also said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it to be put on a lampstand? 22 or nothing is concealed except to be revealed, and nothing hidden except to come to light. 23 If. anyone has ears to hear, he should listen!” 24 Then He said to them “Pay attention to what you hear. By the measure you use, it will be measured and added to you. 25 For to the one who has, it will be given, and from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”

A Pre-Planned Day

Keep your eyes open to Light. You will know how to distinguish My Light from darkness when you ask Me to show you. Then use your will to choose Light. This can only be done if you first choose to follow Me all day. It must be pre-planned. 1 John 2:9-10 If we say that we are in the light, yet hate others, we are in the darkness to this very hour. If we love others, we live in the light, and so there is nothing in us that will cause someone else to sin. 1 John 1:5-7 Now the message that we have heard from his Son and announce is this: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. If, then, we say that we have fellowship with him, yet at the same time live in the darkness, we are lying both in our words and in our actions. But if we live in the light—just as he is in the light—then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from every sin.

Miracle-Making Power

Adding submission to the circumstances I bring to you, while humbly admitting your wrongs, releases miracle-making power. Lean on Me for help. Remain calm and talk with Me. I Love you! Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 1 Samuel 2:7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. James 4:6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Duties of Each Day

Do not defend yourself. Take the injustices without complaint, but simply lean on Me. Accept the humble duties of each day. Choose the way of humility. Choose outward quietness while talking with Me in your thoughts. James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. Micah 6:8 No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Ezra 8:21 Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.22 For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.23 So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. 31 Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

Choose Humility

Submission during difficult circumstances releases humility and chips away pride. Pride is a power-channel blocker. Choose humility during conflicts. Admit errors and faults. Hide nothing. 2 Kings 6:15 When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do?16 [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. 17 Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

The Blind Choice of Submission

There are more ways to increase the power of your will. Every time you choose Me and My ways, you release great power. When you add blindness to that choice, the power increases. If you want to further open the door to a great river of power from My Kingdom to the Earth, then add complete, blind choice of submission to My Will, no matter how humbling or costly or painful it is. Hebrews 11:30-31 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days [by Joshua and the sons of Israel]. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed along with those who were disobedient, because she had welcomed the spies [sent by the sons of Israel] in peace. 2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Nuclear Faith

Choice is power. Blind choice is a nuclear bomb. You have the freedom to use that power for Light or darkness. I gave you great power. Think about it. How will you choose to use it today? Every second you are choosing something. Mark 10:29-30  29 Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel’s 30 Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. Job 11:13-15 Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, 14 and give up your sins—even those you do in secret. 15 Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless. Hebrews 11:32-35  32And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who by faith [that is, with an enduring trust in God and His promises] subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promised blessings, closed the mouths of lions, 34 extinguished the power of [raging] fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became mighty and unbeatable in battle, putting enemy forces to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection;

Actively Following Him

ASK FOR WEAKNESS SO . . . HE CAN BE YOUR STRENGTH When you get to the point of being so broken that you cry out, “I can do nothing!,” then you can do all things in/with Us. As long as you can do anything on your own, you won’t do anything through Us. We do not share Our glory. We are not impressed with your strength, but with your weakness and utter dependence. Complete resignation and admission to the truth of your condition is necessary. Ask Us to weaken your natural strength and reveal weeds. Then you will be strong with Us and Our Presence. Our ways are not man’s ways. Only those who admit they are blind and need guidance can be led. Humble yourself and We will lift you up and do all things in and through you. Pride leads you to be only a stubborn, misled, blind soul. Beware of pride. We Love you! Neither give in to a spirit of fear. When you see your weakness and look at the days ahead, do not be afraid. Lean on Us as you accept your weakness. Be fully aware of your weakness, but be fully aware of Our Love, strength, and soundness of mind. Be as an infant in Our Arms and rest. A baby in his mother’s arms rests, even though the bill collector is coming and there is a storm warning outside. Accept your weakness and Our peace to the point that you actually enjoy your weakness. Then your soul will be quieted like a newborn baby. Resting in Our Arms is actively following Us. Resting in Us is following. Our ways are not your ways. Enjoy your weakness and rest with Us. Matthew 6:31-33 So don’t be anxious, asking, ‘What will we eat?,’ ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘How will we be clothed?’ For it is the pagans (unbelievers) who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 1 Corinthians 12:9-10 But the Lord said, “My grace is all you need. Only when you are weak can everything be done completely by my power.” So I will gladly boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can stay in me. Yes, I am glad to have weaknesses if they are for Christ. I am glad to be insulted and have hard times. I am glad when I am persecuted and have problems, because it is when I am weak that I am really strong. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust God with all your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Proverbs 28:2  A man is a fool to trust himself! But those who use God’s wisdom are safe.

All Tied Up

A garden hose illustrates all of Father’s children, whom He made to receive His Living water of Love. When it’s completely attached to the spigot, the Source of the water, it is filled from end to end. Once this water fills the hose, it overflows onto the living things that need it…including playing children and thirsty adults. But when a garden hose is not used for the purpose it’s Maker designed, and becomes “all tied up” around objects, both the hose and the living things around it go without water. The hose becomes cracked from the twists and turns around the objects. The living things suffer loss of water. We are like garden hoses, unhooked from our Source of Life and Love, all tied up around the objects and goals we desire. We are becoming dry from the lack of Living Water of Love and cracked from unintended use. Those around us don’t receive mercy and Love from Father through us. In order to be filled with Living water, we have to stop being all tied up around the objects and goals we deem important and return to the Source of Love. We then can be permanently connected to a Life-giving Source, drink the satiating and fulfilling Love, and overflow onto others. John 7:38-39 On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”39 (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory).
